Compartmentalizing fatigue



Is a Masculine factor of work. I include some women in here, and many of those were actually better at it than I.

But about half of the guys I knew had this. The spatial thinking tendency which inhibits other capacities...some that are fundamental, such as speech.

There were some who had a high toleration for compartmentalizing...meant as the ongoing action of taking a moment and thinking of all the angles, where it is in reality, how it is positioned, what kind of controls, how does it fit together how does it come apart...this mind is one compartment.
Another is sports, another language development, another social development, another Math development...and so on.

Now, elementary school jumps the kids through these hoops, having expectations of conformity, but, its working too hard and there is a peculiar capacity, that is visible in the weaker attention spans...whose attention spans are considered weaker because they cannot shift into multiple basic compentences, but instead demand their own object or subject of study.
What lies close to that most is Math, but its really simulation, mechanisms, toys, things that exist in 3-d...have a sound as well.
This is more compelling than the abstraction of language, that requires turning it down.

So, that uses fuel, and some brains use up all their fuel on that concentration, therein, they are not compartmentaliZING, they are stuck in one compartment.

De-compartmentalization is not something they do. The drawing of everything into language is resisted because it is too slow and the factor of communication is left out due to it being absolutely real.
Simulation always existed, in toys, but in this case, computer are the ultimate. Science visualization software is something kids enjoy. The freedom to test and make a mistake is not being exploited, instead, what is taught is mostly training and technique in paperwork.
Because everybody is going to fit into a big building with centralized paperwork...thats everybody's future...oh, I mean, it was the future of the Baby Boomers.
They just wont let it go.

Lets consider: Math. Very compartmentalized thought, to call it Math...an industrial category...the idea that Math is this term, when, all over simulation and interactive games there is calculus, geometry, and scoring, percentages, building fractions, subtracting...all this going on intuitively, wherein, it would be easy to take each subject and overlay that into a game, say, like Halo...stalling the image and asking the student to note the arc which is displayed in Calculas lessons....or My Little Ponies MMO where they are avatars that score in interests and networking, and have them take tests in the narrowest sense of the subject.
They have to take it again and again until they pass,
So, as a subject which has a orderly schedule of assignment into which all students much follow, I think, indicates a prejudice of industrialism.

Okay, so, in compartmentalizing, there is the hunter in this spatial thinking tendency.

The spatial thinking can be tolerant or intolerant...it reduces, removes the soul of everything...depersonalizes to machinery even children. Each person has their limit where too much compartmentalization, de-compartmentalization, re-compartmentalization, is either not in the switching, as in ADD or ADHD, or, its not allowed to occur naturally.
As in, eventually the ADD forced attention span on whatever it is the ADD person wants to or tends to pay attention to is indulged...it reaches a end point of boredom, and then the ADD etc, wants  more stimulation.
Thats just a kid in school who looks up and finds the whole class has moved on to another subject, which, not only is the other subject what is slower and ignored in order to sharpen and improve a single other subject.

Kids cant have naturally specialized minds? yes, they can, and these kids have tremendous concentration, but, it requires a different kind of approach a teacher cannot be specialized in, first of all, it favors the kid by making it look like that kid is being indulged in, while the other kids, developing the switching by practicing, or already having the switches and just using them coasting along with school...
I mean, is there not actual constructive skills that can be taught to kids in elementary school?
Sure, in 3-d printer production. They are less critical of the results!

This tendency can also be fragile in that the panic or fear will bring out the panicked hunter, the greater the pressure the greater the compartmentalization (do it and stop playing with that toy!)
and the more energy is used.
This manifests sometimes as inarticulate...the language ability is sacrificed for the sake of paying attention and calculating in time and space.

This is ordinary people, who panic because as children its a fear filled world. In the pressure of the hunt ignoring school.

This creates a kind of depth, but an inability to pay attention to what is going on in the larger picture of socializing or verbalizing, as the brain is focusing on music or space, or some kind of intellectual activity that requires a great deal of concentration.

So, as boys there is this kind of competitive sphere they feel a need to test themselves, and their thinking, against other boys...to THEN socialize that intelligence. Not before...there is a feeling of not being ready, and of course, the spatial problem of integrating his or her action withe other persons in this very very detailed, calculus heavy way.
Sports does not exactly develop the reading and literate mind. Or, it can be said, the literary and reading are not as interesting as Sports, which requires more concentration and control, but less effort to concentrate as it is natural for boys and girls to think of their bodies as action "avatars".

It was highly dangerous. Some of that intelligence lends itself to evil. And in kids its accidental evil.

Charles does not seem to have that quality. He is petty vengeful?

I met a few of those as well. And, I met most who were not. But a lot of kids, almost a quarter or a fifth, and I could see it in myself and contained it pretty well, I think.
Those type of people can knock others into isolation, and therein make them vulnerable to addiction.
The whole GenX frailty was this culture of aliens.
They made great music but I think the music might seem to another generation a syndrome.
The protest music went away in the 70's.
Its strange to think back and think of variety shows as compared to what my kids are watching.

Its like an inversion as the variety is a mixture of game shows and variety shows. Music is more background as interactivity...well, it flattens out so that they get into a kind of a rut.
But its not like a rut we ever experienced. The interactivity and 3-d reality of it is another level of compatibility.

It must make a more elaborate visualization.

Which must use more brain energy.

I think schools are trying too hard, and hitting a barrier at this boyish (some girls) fragility of attention span and fear.
But still having the 3-d they go into a nose dive as all they can do is enter the act of the hunt, meanwhile, its symbolic thought, logic, and memorization as industrial literate exercises, yet no real application and only review by the teacher/authority, with no other impact on anyone...).

What should be seen is a problem in the social environment which is industrial legacy of paperwork limits to thought. Sure, after a while painting and sculptory and so...began to speak vanished ages even as writers began to write History....all as vanished Atlantis!

There is the thought of building up by memes, values, practices, but, what was not integrated into the styles of industrial education..it had.the goal of total literacy, but what was not integrated was interactive computer games and simulations.
Which should take the stage while the Industrial sets aside some of the poorly executed analogues?

Lets certainly not look to the games industry for educational models of the future!

Kids learn nothing from playing with toys or playing in general. Their attention must be focused on letters and numbers to the exclusion of all other forms of presentation, as simple math equations.

This includes working at the same pace at the same time, and instead considers the workers...these digital students in the hypothetical future of digital education.
Who perhaps spend a apprenticeship working at computers instead of going to High School.

For instance I would teach my daughter to do the house accounting. Then she would teach it to Charles.
This form of math is the best form, home accounting. They learn it anyway, but not as Math exercise.


The students go for interactivity. They can take it or leave it, but the network is not bound to the neighborhood or school, and that requires security but these can be dedicated lines, like Google fiber.
Instead, all of that capacity, however much it varies from student to student, is a tool too useful to not implement...engage, though it must also remain regardless of student participation.
The Virtual School should be inside of every Elementary School, as a Social Network. Furthermore, they can contact anyone, and they are encouraged to build a social presence which answers other kids questions regarding whats it like over there?
Very feminine but essential process, and I say feminine in that I can see half the girls really getting into a National Social Network, building it out of a Local network.

PE should be all day long and yet, another two aspect bridge out of PE, requires hiring two more PE teachers: Robot Battles and Challenges, and Interactive Sport or Competitive Hand to Eye games...like virtual fencing or boxing.

So, working is not interacting socially and in having a access all day to sports which is also robotics and challanging video games (some trivia games too).
Meanwhile, in class they have somewhat private sound booths to interact...wherein, they are told to stand for periods of time.
Anyway, they look through screens and participate in projects and lessons. The Teacher tracks this somewhat...

Outside are organized games but its also free play.

The order of the games includes all ages, but the older kids do have a league...so that fourth and fifth graders have their own group sports.

These sports can feature helmets, with displays over the eyes, and in fact be shoot em games, or, Virtual games of basketball.

They can actually play basketball but the technology will be there....

Student will drift, mostly boys but some girls, into playing Halo, or Fallout 3 more than doing any work. However, they can only do that about four hours tops...they begin to burn out around an hour.
So that group that, in a period of time at the beginning of the year, determined, they are opted out of a subject, and allowed to play again, another hour, but this time they have a smaller groups.

The other kids are not jealous of exclusion or privilege. They are doing other things in those hours, some outside playing games.

Sports should transform. The Team sports should be more mathematical, and make use of interactivity if not Virtuality.

But there should be a travel group, who explore other countries.

all of the social, online.

Half the day, or a quarter of the day. Everyone does the same thing in the morning, then they go into their specialities in the afternoon.

Compartmentalizing fatigue comes from having to shift into another subject just as the first subject began to unlock, as a discrete list of required features of adequecy in an industrial world.
One had to "hurry" thought to keep up with others. Fewer had to slow down and some had no brakes.
Everyone thinking to the same speed, and it was governed by paperwork.
Even without these simulation devices kids use for hours, devices more powerful than curriculum ever...even without these things, we knew, us spatial thinking kids, who could visualize things in our minds in 3-d, that school missed the mark.
Even some of us could take it more than others, I was somewhere in between.


Aiming the kid in a more diverse direction, because this diversity, which is person to person, not among race, this person to person diversity as isolation is solved by the elementary school having a social media and kids own social tendencies. Through Avatars.
Some are shy.

Prejudice of Industrialism was also race is a genetic generalization. Its stupidly dumb because there were no computers.
This prejudice came to light in Industrialism, but in all sense the "new compartmentalizing", the proliferation of ologies, and ideos...these of course now vanish in so many cross specialty study... this Industrialism patterned unknowingly, by terms meant to get a handle on it.
The future of a digital literacy was inconceivable...so much was just not done to change or prepare for a new age of how we do things.
Or, Industrialism favors profits over work, given that work is a evolving concept that comes out of extreme deprivation. We were deprived and so work seemed to a way out, for food, for clothing, for shelter.
None of that is unavailable. Work is also not the same deprivation...all work is air conditioned.
Labor is slowly fading out to robotics.
Age is extending, the global birth is receding.

So we try to bring political thought into politics and discuss the future as a political vision, but, another kind of elite adapts to machinery, the deliberately depersonalize themselves in order to become one with action. Engineers, Astronauts, Scientists...amused as ever by the arts.

There is a flaw in the industrial values whereby reading and writing the approved ideas, as a rising middle class, they are developing as units into a National body.
Which was highly totalitarian, or merely absolutist, but the value of the middle class grew out of the value of the traders and crafts of Mercantile, to then Banks and Capital, then Credit of Industrial based on projected manufacturing for the future markets due to transport.
Reduced now. Well, stabilizing. It can employ less and make as much or more money.

The system works toward efficiency by rewarding, perhaps by annihilation, but mostly by competition, those who are survivors. Usually they are people brought along based on Trust and reliability, as the fewer workers means slightly more money for managers working toward the top...in paperwork!
The imposition of writing upon people did not hold as much power as speech, and all forms of command and application of rightful wisdom, into action, was meant to come from speech. Writing, a sideline, never took that role over but made a level of suppression, to screen out the literate from those who could not or would not be literate.
An artificial imposition, growing over managing every person and all their values, by paperwork!

An age where greater fear was the case between Nations. This peaked recently, a volcanic change in global thinking, visualizing global thermonuclear annihilation of human civilization.
I still love that setting, yet, it may be a cliche of the past now, all footage in fifties codachrome and removed in the eyes of the Millennial Digital.




MEDICINE

There is the thought that instead of a general, industrial kind of normative, the human race does not extend life expectancy to 150, as a strong mean, but instead, the breakthrough create more a crack in the code, instead of a mere increased maintenance.
And in the cracking of the code, alongside a more fractal capacity of some 30% of humans living longer than another 30% who also live longer than another 30%.
Into that is a acceleration of children born to that capacity.

So, this tendency to be long lived, healthy for a long time as a genetic pattern, this results in a favorable gene selection at conception.
Two generations...but the oldest that set this genetic standard, which promises to be exploited even more in the genetic conformed generation...

I know sounds Brave New World...but, the point being the first third that sets the standard lives longer as a norm. So, who they are become a more interesting generation, as it lends itself to studying other genetic conformities, such as the Agri or J gene, or, the Literacy gene...or oral memory gene...such things are not done yet.
