Nostalgia*

Back in the seventies
I would go to the park
ride my bike to the library
read a book and look at LP art.

Then I'd get bored, walk the doors
out onto grass floors
meet Hippies on LSD
they were so crazy,

and the greet an old bum
holding his brown bag of booze
I gave him a nickel
he thanked me, then snoozed

I'd walk over the sports field
and think it was so cool
to be in a little league
baseball feud.

It would get dark
so back home to eat
and then went to my room
to watch black and white TV

my friends came over
and we'd bike to the arcade
ride space ships and play spies
with only some pocket change

Last to the midnight flick
to see horror, and get stressed!

All in all this was the best.
